Finding Grace, Living Changed
At Gracepoint Church you can belong before you believe. No matter who you are, who you love, where you were born or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome and you are loved by God. We are a community that is finding God’s grace revealed in Jesus Christ, and living out the change that God is working in our hearts and minds.
1997 - 2003
Purchase of land by Bryanston Methodist Church and inviting Rev Gary and Jacqui Rivas to start a church.
2004 - 2010
Starting Lonehill Methodist Church (later Gracepoint), fundraising, building and then moving into our new church building.
2010 - 2022
Establishing a worshiping community – including learning what it means to be a community with its own building, identity, culture and values. Starting Lonehill Methodist Church (later Gracepoint), fundraising, building and then moving into our new church building.
2023 - present
Discovering our identity and future beyond the leadership of our founding Pastors. Revs Ian France and Linda Magengenene-Moyake are, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, building on the foundation laid in our formative years and leading us as a community into God’s future.
