 Titus 2:3 – 5 (MSG):

“Guide older women into lives of reverence so they end up as neither gossips nor drunks, but models of goodness. By looking at them, the younger women will know how to love their husbands and children, be virtuous and pure, keep a good house, be good wives.

Based on these verses, and the example of Naomi and Ruth, Women 2 Women exists to provide an enabling environment in which women who have life experience, are able to share with less-experienced younger women.
Mentees can select a mentor based on the profiles below. Kindly click into each profile to read more about each woman, and also to see if they are already mentoring or still available.

How it works

Through connecting an older woman “mentor” with a younger woman “mentee”, an opportunity is created for sacred conversations to take place. These conversations will be entirely private and confidential between the two women involved. It is not a formal mentorship or discipleship programme or a coaching situation, but rather a sharing from the heart of a conversation between two women about life.

The nature of the conversation will vary depending on the life stages of the women, the expressed needs, and the relationship that is between them. It is expected that the content of the conversations will change over time as the relationship evolves, as trust is established and as life happens.

Selection of a mentor is made by the mentee. A potential mentee can choose the person that she feels she will relate tobest. As more mentors become available, they will be added to the profile list.Once they have established contact, the mentor and mentee will decide together when and where they will meet. It is hoped that each pair will meet at least once a month initially, but more often is welcomed. If either person feels like the relationship is not working after a few months, then it can be called off.
